Frizbee Ceramics sprouted in 2016, and ever since then they’ve been crafting up handmade porcelain art in their studio. Luckily enough, the Paris-based collective Carne Bollente is on that same wavelength. Headed by three artists, Carne Bollente has tunnel vision when it comes to sex positivity. Desiring a healthy outlet to express kinks through clothes, it makes a lot of sense that Carne Bollente would join forces with Frizbee Ceramics to dream up an unconventional, yet charming collection. Harking back to 90s street art and the era’s spellbinding world of rave culture – this collab is full to the brim with nostalgic inspiration.
Holiday season is upon us, and while finding the perfect gift for a loved one can feel like a treacherous odyssey – the Carne Bollente x Frizbee Ceramics collab has got you covered. With the two powerhouses co-creating a stunning series of ready-to-wear clothing, as well as splendid ceramics – there’s a wide range to choose from that’ll tickle your fancy.
Carne Bollente holds up their end of the deal with a classic tee, adorned with a playful all-over print. To boot, they’ve also included a long sleeve with distorted flower smiley faces, as well as a couple of accessories too. Sticking with the graffiti aesthetic, there’s some faded purple socks, a bandana, and their iconic apron up for grabs. Made with love in Portugal, good vibes simply emanate from these pieces.
As for the ceramics, the collab has conjured up a range of plates, cups, and some funky plant pots. Continuing with the collab’s graffiti-inspired aesthetics, raised-edge plates are plastered with an array of prints and smiley faces, all hand-casted and glazed with top notch materials.
