PREMIERE: SCENARIOS FT. PAUL BRENNING – “LOOKING IN THE SKY”

The underground house collective joins forces with vocalist Paul Brenning to offer up hypnotic new single “Looking in the Sky”.

Scenarios is many things – a music collective, a record label, but most of all it’s an ode to individuality. Comprised of five artists: Maga, Sean Doron, Yulia Niko, Tim Engelhardt and Emanuel Satie, together as a force they imbue the music scene with their shared beliefs and outlook on life. Although of course they have a lot in common, each member is still able to maintain their individual edge – which is a great feat in today’s landscape where people feel compelled to conform, in order to make themselves more palatable. This free-thinking gusto has certainly paid off; Scenarios’ roster is incredibly impressive. Cultivating their own visual language, in addition to their sound, Scenarios have dreamed up an entirely unparalleled way of releasing music.

The collective has garnered a chorus of critical acclaim with their previous three releases, which got a lot of fans buzzing to hear their next output. And it has finally been unfurled – “Looking in the Sky” is here. Marking the first single to feature each five members of the collective, the group take the notion of collaboration further, enlisting the help of vocal powerhouse Paul Brenning.

The track oscillates, meandering between Brenning’s arresting vocals and the scintillating, shimmering synths. Palpitating from one ear to the other, the ethereal production is brought back down to earth by a punchy bass that demands you to dance. Emotionally charged and heady, the track’s sheer dynamism makes “Looking in the Sky” the perfect addition to a pre-party playlist. Imbued with electric energy, there were no holds barred when whipping up this track.

Scenarios’ artistic tendrils aren’t just confined to their music. Crafting up a distinct aesthetic, branding, and explosive event experiences – Scenarios are simply in their own lane. Can you keep up?
