The Brooklyn indie four-piece celebrates tenaciously chasing your dreams on new track.

The hustle involved in pursuing one’s dreams can be rigorous. From working two jobs, spending all your disposable income to make said dream happen, and often enduring such circumstances for years with little credit – it’s the will to keep going through it all that Rebounder documents on latest track, “Factoury Girl”.

“I was inspired by a friend of mine who is working to be an actor,” the band’s Dylan explains. “They work two jobs, truly 9-5, then 5-9. ‘Factoury Girl’ is a song about how amazing I think they are.” The lethargic indie haze of “Factoury Girl”, one would imagine, contrasts starkly with such a laborious toil, however, it makes for a blissful, moreish listen, led by transfixing hooks and Rebounder’s deft guitar lines. The dual-screen accompanying music video details the struggle, depicting a waiter navigating the perpetual demands of hospitality, before seeking revenge, with the albeit unadvisable action of pouring petrol on the ground behind the bar and setting it alight.

Comprising the lead single from Rebounder’s upcoming EP “Sundress”, following 2021’s project “Subway Songs”, as well as high-profile support slots for the likes of MUNA and The Neighbourhood, we’re already waiting eagerly to see what the rest of the release has in store.
