It’s Christmas! Well, technically it’s not quite – we’re barely actually into the clutches of November, however, we might as well get into the festive spirit as bleak skies and copious rain showers loom over us. And what better way to do just that than by immersing ourselves in this year’s Christmas advertising campaigns? Whilst a certain department store with poignant parables and sombre soundtracking usually takes the biscuit, it’s safe to say that none have tickled our senses and informed the contents of our wish lists this year quite like this one. Enter, Gucci!
Rooted in the world of travel, in reference to the house’s origins, we see the chicest conceivable assortment of characters embark on a journey in the extravagance of a Gucci locomotive, in Jordan Hemmingway’s film, with interiors that the Polar Express could only dream of. Each passenger would appear to be experiencing their own mysterious, main-character odyssey, however, they are all bound by one key commonality – a supreme eye for the beauty of the world around them.
Gucci duffel bags, trollies, luggage, as well as the House’s signature bags, opulent jewellery, and even its dog collection lead the campaign, the latter modelled by a cast of canine passengers along, especially for the ride.
Head below for a glimpse of them and to enter the divine world of Gucci’s festive gift campaign, for yourself, right now…
