Over the years, K-pop has been garnering a cult-like following across the globe – so it’s no surprise that members of BTS, BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, and TXT swept the European awards ceremony last night. BLACKPINK’s Lisa was awarded Best K-pop, to the relief of millions of adoring fans. Unsurprisingly, BTS’ tremendous ‘Army’ put them on track to win Biggest Fans. The newcomers of SEVENTEEN were graced with the Best New Artist award, adding fuel to the already blazing fire. And, TXT won Best Asia Act – marking a monumental milestone for the boy band. With bases in Korea and now Europe covered, these stars are set for world domination.

The piping-hot Afrobeats artist, Burna Boy, repped Nigeria with his third win for the Best Africa Act. Having previously won the same category in both 2019 and 2020 – this triple threat cements his place in history as an Afrobeats trailblazer. Songs of his, like “Last Last” have been explosive sensations – and with another win under his belt, we’re excited to see what he cooks up next.

Tapping into the crystal-encrusted vibe of her latest album, Taylor Swift once again made a statement on the red carpet. Turning out a trio of looks, she is keeping the fans fed, with theories popping up all over the internet. No stranger to an easter egg, the mastermind behind “Midnights” hinted at the rumoured release of Reputation Taylor’s Version through snakeskin-style scales and a not-so-subtle snake ring alongside paying homage to her “Bejewelled” era in a glittering David Koma number.

Bebe Rexha certainly caught our attention last night, donning this electric blue ensemble from the Kosovo-based designer Fjolla Nila. Sporting a head to toe velvet bodysuit, the look was completed with a huge statement flower around the artist’s waist. This was certainly the stand-out look from the entire awards show, and if her aim was to catch our attention – then she definitely succeeded.

Our golden girl came through with some meme potential

Swifties are buzzing about this accidental meme moment during the ceremony. It’s giving – “It’s me, hi. I’m the problem it’s me.”
