Chiiild’s musical project proves once again to be one of the most unique on the scene. The Montreal-based virtuoso anticipates his upcoming album “better luck in the next life” by dropping a noir inspired trailer and a new single, “Bon Voyage”. The song marks the beginning of a new musical journey following Chiiild’s debut “Hope for sale”, and it offers a glance into the musician’s most morose and personal side. The visuals accompanying the song follow Chiiild roaming in desolate surroundings and seemingly abandoned places in his native city, Montreal, as if the singer was wandering through the darkest corners of his mind, bewildered.

Chiiild also proves to be a straightforward and self aware lyricist, delivering synesthetic verses and harsh truths swerving between pain and joy. Chiiild’s objective is to offer his listeners a glimpse “into the doubts & fears, ambitions and a few connections along the way. It was a form of healing putting these real situations into songs. When everybody is out here on the same thing, we’re just out here levitating.”
