Kim K showed up at Tracee Ellis Ross’ birthday party cosplaying as mutant Mystique in a skin-tight blue latex suit, scaley face paint and a perfectly assembled posse of X-Men characters by her side. Unfortunately, the party was not costume-themed, and the heiress superstar found herself being the odd one out. Did that stop her from being incredibly iconic and making the headlines of every single media output this morning? Well, certainly not!

Miss Kendall Jenner takes it down South as Jessie from the beloved Toy Story films. Opting for a sexy twist on Jessie’s fit, the svelte model sported cow print chaps, teeny denim shorts, a long-sleeve crop top, and of course – a cowboy hat. The cowboy boots trend has been on the rise for a minute, so it’s no surprise that it-girl Kendall would go all out with this aesthetic for Halloween. She donned a bustier and skirt crafted from burgeoning rose buds; the look was topped off with a baby pink ruffled train. With a rose on each ankle, Bieber is serving floral realness. Super feminine, yet sultry – you can’t deny this look is as pretty as a petal.

Revamping the fairy tale character for the Modern Age, Keke Palmer wasn’t afraid to put her own spin on this classic look. Sporting cascading braided tresses, she completed the look with a puffed-up Regency-style gown. In her insta pics, the actress stares longingly into the distance from her ivory tower. Olivia Rodrigo attended Kendall Jenner’s Halloween bash this Saturday, paying tribute to a cartoon classic, Betty Boop! The “Good for U” singer gave us 1930’s glam from head to toe, wrapped in a cute red mini dress and sporting the iconic Betty Boop heart-shaped garter. Her long locks were put up in pin-up curls falling on her forehead, making Olivia look like a two dimensional stylised version of herself. Definitely one of the most original costumes of the year!

Moon Prism Power, Make Up! Paris Hilton nailed her costume as the Pretty Guardian of Love and Justice, Sailor Moon, a manga character fighting forces of evil on TV from 1992 to 1997. She even got her husband Carter Reum to dress on theme as Sailor Moon’s on-screen lover Tuxedo Man and chaperone her at the Casamigos Halloween party.
The queen of Y2K has admitted on Instagram that Sailor Moon was her childhood icon, and she brought the animated character to life with an indisputable Paris touch: sparkles!

Addison Rae did her pop culture homework this year, recapturing the moment in which Lady Gaga left us collectively awestruck in front of the TV: her Paparazzi performance at the MTV Video Music Awards 2009. As Gaga sang the last refrain of the song, fake blood gushed out from her corset, leaving the singer to perform in a gorey puddle as the crowd went wild.
