Friday has officially entered the chat, in the form of Shab’s storming EDM floor filler “Sexual”, now complete with an equally scintillating video. An anthem celebrating feminine desire, passion, and empowerment, SHAB ascends to the upper echelons of dance-pop on the extravaganza, produced by Damon Sharpe (Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez).

The video is a rush of fierce sensuality, red lips, and just all-out serving, with the singer largely appearing alone, illuminating her ability to carry such a production with nothing but her inimitable charm. It shows us yet another side of the Iranian refugee, now residing in the US, who last hit our playlists with the tender “Serenity” in July.

Fans of Anastacia are currently able to experience the multi-faceted icon of tomorrow, Shab, in the flesh, as she joins the noughties pop queen on her I’m Outta Lockdown tour across the UK, this month. As if an Anastacia gig couldn’t get any better!
