PREMIERE: INSINCERE – “JACK’S MELODY”

The London three-piece share moving song and short film on mental health.

Insincere’s compelling new film “Jack’s Melody” almost didn’t happen. “Jack’s’ would have been discarded if it wasn’t for support from the people around us,” the group explain. However, as they continue: “We think that’s fitting in a way. We needed help from people so we could help people – that’s the whole point.”

The film explores the story of 17-year-old Jack, who passes away following struggles with mental health and drug abuse. Created by the trio with the aim of furthering intricate conversations around the subject, the accompanying track is also set for release digitally later this month. It’s the latest from graphic designer and rapper Grace, vocalist Orlando, and producer Alex, who exploded onto the consciousness of music lovers and industry figures alike with juggernaut internet hit “Angels Don’t Fuck” at the beginning of the year.

They’re now signees of EMI, and if “Jack’s Melody” is anything to go by, they look set to carve a place as industry conversation starters and musical trailblazers imminently.
