A totally collaborative effort, the new collection fuses futuristic innovation with exceptional design and style — pushing the boundaries of performance for fashion. To achieve this, Dior builds a narrativce through a range of protective equipment such as body armour, helmets and masks — designed using state-of-the-art materials while proudly emblazoned with a graphic Dior emblem.

Elsewhere, ski suits in contrasting cool and warm palettes feature, created in collaboration with the Japanese sports clothing specialist, Descente. Forming a gradient colouring, lemon yellow blends into a fiery fuchsia — a complete juxtaposition to its snow white and navy blue counterpart. Appearing beside aztec patterns on sheepskin gilets and hooded overcoats, each piece emanates the cosy sentiments of wintertime while remaining unmistakably Dior.

With racer-style logos printed throughout, the ski capsule offers up the perfect balance between couture and sport, introducing Kim Jones’ own vision for Dior’s entry into the sports sphere. Peppering the capsule with unprecedented accessories, Dior incorporates it’s unmistakable knit detailing into lace-up ankle boots and explorer bags. Finished with a graphic snowboard curated by Ak Ski specifically for Dior, the entire capsule unites to create a narrative around freedom of movement and an adventurous spirit.
