Inspired by Adele’s soul-soaked lyricism and poignant instrumentals, Anniina learned to play the piano after watching the icon’s performance — igniting her passion for music that now fuels her entire career and lifestyle.

While just 19 years old, Anniina is already well-versed in the art of transparency, using personal experiences and stories to charge her own sound in her introductory single, “Fire”. With honeyed vocals that sound as matured as that of fine wine, the Finland-hailing artist delivers a touching narrative on the motions of heartbreak — feeling stuck within a turbulent cycle of pain, loss, anger and being unable to move on. Touching on the realisation that someone is doing better with her, “Fire” shows Anniina turn the story onto herself, revealing her most defeated thoughts and feelings and allowing them to burn within flames.

Speaking on the track, she explains, “I remember writing a part of the song super jet-lagged in a hotel room on one of my first days in a new city. I had just arrived, and all these new and exciting things were happening around me, but I couldn’t think of anything else but what went wrong with the person back home. Pretty soon after, I met my friend Sasha who I then co-wrote and finished the song with.”
