Made potent by its moving visual, “Safe” is a track that steps in as a remedy for those times when we can’t decipher which way is up; when all we need is a hand to take us to “the promised land of the great unknown”. Soaked in sentimental lyricism, “Safe” gently pulls us through uncertain times, allowing our biggest worries and fears to dispel inside the track’s triumphant chorus. Whilst the visual follows a harrowing story that visually depicts the contrast between the good and bad that life can throw at us, it simultaneously celebrates the untouchable beauty of companionship, within which the mighty becomes manageable.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the track, the band explain, “’Safe’ is about the trials and tribulations that come with life. The hills and valleys, wins and losses. It is about how those challenges are so much better met when your significant other is by your side. I hope each person who listens can interpret the song how they see fit. On a personal level, for me, it’s about the constant uncertainty of chasing my dreams as an artist while also wanting my wife to chase her dreams and us trying to support each other every step of the way.”
