The Berlin-based duo cultivate dreamy soundscapes on track taken from brand new EP “Your Social Battery”.

Wolfskind & BAYUK is the coming together of two Berlin-based artists with a simple mission statement: to make authentic, left-field pop, with no limits. Wolfskind became well known as a former signee of Universal Music, however, as a songwriter was pigeonholed artistically to create one narrow type of pop music due to his major label ties. Thankfully, meeting and working with BAYUK offered restoration for the zest he once had for the craft, as is evident on the pair’s latest collection of woozy, addictive tracks, the “Your Social Battery” EP, including the cut “75%” featuring burgeoning German rapper Llucid.

The musical lovechild of Mac DeMarco, C. Tangana and recent Bon Iver, Wolfskind & BAYUK’s tapestry of musical reference points, including Bossanova guitars, breakbeats, alongside undeniable pop hooks, has had fans hooked since releasing their first collaborative EP “Overdose” in 2019. “Your Social Battery” looks set only to prompt hoards more to flock their way.
