Platinum-selling songwriter, singer, rapper and visual artist SonReal (Aaron Hoffman) has years of globetrotting, award nominations, and endless online streams under his belt. However, in new track “Remember Me For Me” he looks closer to home, in the introspective collaboration with the mellifluous tones of 21-year-old Lily Moore.

“Music to me is about feel, and a lot of my songs are like therapy,’ SonReal says. “This song means so much to me on so many levels but the thing I love about it the most is it will mean something different to each person that experiences it.”

On the pared-back acoustic cut, the pair intertwine over refreshing, easy guitar, with an equally elegant video, premiered below, that interrogates self-perception through surrealism, honing in on facial features, colours and our perception of objects.

With over 220 million track streams and 146 million views online, SonReal creates natural connections with fans and with “Remember Me For Me”, these are only likely to strengthen and proliferate.
