Brought up in Florida, jazz artist Eric Darius has often drawn upon his Caribbean heritage when dreaming up his now-trademark silky, smooth sax. And now, in the hopes of giving us a host of new tracks filled with charisma and his infectiously high energy, Darius drops new album, Unleashed. From the mellow tracks that we can’t help but sway to, to the upbeat anthems, Darius makes it clear that he has laced his latest project with pure heart and soul. “I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone on this project and truly unleash my full musical potential,” the saxophonist recalls. “This album is an honest reflection of myself and my growth both musically and personally over the past several years and it really takes the listeners on a musical journey from start to finish!”

And, while there are many an abundance of album highlights, one that sticks out sees Darius come together with Justin Lee Shultz on the track “That’s My Jam”. At just 15, Shultz is a prodigy and together with Darius, the pair have created an upbeat, irresistibly infectious and dance-worthy track that is set to ignite audiences when the artist hits the road this August!
