It might be Friday, but we would be lying if we said we were feeling the end-of-week fever a day like today usually brings. Luckily, however, Kris James’ latest single “The Way You Move” came sliding into our inbox and subsequently our playlists just in time — leaving us with that cant-help-but-dance feeling as we charge into the forthcoming weekend. Laced with dance-funk throughout and interspersed with James’ signature glowing vocals, “The Way You Move” is the kind of dance-floor hit that will leave you craving a night out that will never come to an end.

Speaking on the making of the track, Kris James explains, “This time around I’ve been able to have some real fun in creating this song and the next album. This is the most disco-funk I think I have ever gone and I absolutely love it! Hope you do too!”

Though right in saying “The Way You Move” might just be his most vibrant effort yet, it would appear the Liverpool-born singer-songwriter is by no means slowing down in his ascendency. Joining Pop iIol winner Will Young on his upcoming 20-year-long Commemorative Tour, it would appear there are plenty more sparkling symphonies and lit-up dance floors in our future.
