For their AW22 instalment of jewels, Hatton Labs chose not to look towards the crystal-like snowflakes for inspiration, instead looking to the promenade, de La Croisette — the third largest jewellery heist of all time.

Dating back to 2013, the heist saw the successful theft of 72 jewels, 34 of which being regarded as exceptional quality. Though born from an act of crime, the heist of those rare one-of-a-kind pieces have since been romanticised into a glamorous plot of desire and acquisition — a theme that pulses throughout the Hatton Labs AW22 Collection. Paying homage to the 72 stolen jewels, the pieces boast the cuts and colours of the original stones, while their silhouettes are dramatically reimagined to cater to more masculine designs — showing how their legacy has managed to transcend time, gender and trends despite them never being displayed in their rightful place.

In a similar vein, the wider selection of AW22 accessories continue to evoke memories from the past’s most iconic events. From referencing the Carlton Hotel’s maintenance master key rings or the French poodle effigy, the entire collection displays imagination and elegance while offering brand new crystal droplets, a wide array of coloured stones and irregular pearls.
