Call Me By Your Name has been an era-defining film. Having shot Timothée Chalamet into the depths of stardom and received critically-acclaimed recognition globally, it is safe to say that we can expect the film to be talked about for years to come. But what we didn’t expect was for the film’s director and some of the cast’s standout actors to reunite for the cannibal horror movie Bones & All. And of course, in true 2021 style, that is exactly what is happening, and the surreal nature of the project is only becoming more evident as we are offered our first look that the film.

Sporting an extreme new aesthetic, the first look at the film shows a tense and scruffy red-haired Timothée Chalamet dressed in a patterned pink shirt with dirt smeared across his face. Also featuring Chalamet’s co-star Taylor Russell, the imagery of the pair at a derelict gas station offers eagerly awaiting fans a preview into the “thousand-mile odyssey” the young cannibal and drifter are set to take through 80s America whilst falling through a whirlwind romance and desperately trying to outrun their dark pasts.

And now, with Chalamet making his first Instagram ‘grid debut since last November, we have been offered another serving of sneak peeks — a glimmer of the heat cooking up between the two cannibals-turned-lovers.

The CMBYN director has called upon many of his friends from the industry to work on the adaptation of Camille DeAngelis’ novel, including writer David Kajganich, decorated actress Chloë Sevigny, and Michael Stuhlbarg.

While there is no release date to be found, the ever-growing imagery of the romantic horror confirms that the feature is fast-approaching, meaning that we are one step closer to seeing the Call Me By Your Name ensemble in a wildly different light.
