Glistening neon lights, ribcage-shaking guitar riffs and show-stopping runways: that is what Celine’s Dysfunctional Bauhaus is made of. Utterly captivating in their approach to bringing fashion into an entirely new medium, the house showcases their Homme 23 show at the Palais De Tokyo under the thunderous anthems of emerging New York-based band, Gustaf.

Marking the second show orchestrated by Hedi Slimane, the collection is electrified by bold silhouettes, punk-inspired chain accents and heavy-duty boots — all the while showcasing a spellbinding range of materials, patterns and cuts. Storming the runways of the Palais De Tokyo – Europe’s largest centre for contemporary creation – Celine pays homage to the museum, celebrating the 20-year anniversary of its founding and Hedi Slimane’s Dior Homme AW02 show simultaneously. Symbolising a metaphorical and literal return to his roots, the show serves as a reminder of Hedi Slimane’s revolutionary tribute to the art of menswear.
