Tis’ the season of new collections and runways — and this year, we have well and truly cashed in. From bright magenta two-pieces gracing the Spanish Steps to intergalactic boots for the wedding season, our favourite fashion icons have proven that the limits to couture do not exist — and we have never felt more ready to explore them. And, with the sun unwavering in its reign across London skies, we feel a new wardrobe dawning — despite the disagreement of our bank accounts.

So to see how you can switch up your style for the imminent new season, head below to see how Dua Lipa, Charles Melton and the Kardashians are doing it first…

Dua Lipa declared that it is officially wedding SZN

Breathing a new lease of life into the often dated standards of wedding wear, Dua Lipa dug through Bottega’s FW22 collection to find this ivory lace piece. Sheer at the base, the dress offerd some modest tulle trimmings around the bust and waist — making sure the bride stays the only one blushing. In keeping with everyone’s most-loved trend of the fashion season, she coordinated the look with some long finger-gloves, boasting the same intricate design weaved into the opalescent fabric. Ultimately, however, it was the finishing touches that received a standing ovation from us. Pairing some metallic go-go boots with a spherical beaded handbag, Dua Lipa injected the future into an otherwise classic style.

Charles Melton had a matching Maison Valentino moment

It’s official: Valentino owns the colour pink. Dressing yet another star in their hot and fiery fuchsia palette, Valentino continues to make their mark on the industry in the best way they know how: simply, yet addictively boldly. Opting for a three-piece suit, Charles Melton made a striking comparison to the sun-soaked skies of Spain this week. And while the picture might not permit us to see, Melton topped it off with a pair of perfectly matching platform trainers — no doubt leaving Regina George quaking in her stilettos.

Tyler, The Creator rocked a dripped-out jacket

It is not often that Tyler, The Creator graces our feeds, but when he does, he leaves us fed. In a sizeable photo dump, it was this particular look that had us all double-tapping. Opting for a prep-meets-country aesthetic, Tyler blends leather with cotton and tweed — ensuring his signature drip remains in the limelight. Fashioning antique-style accents and broches across his double-breasted blazer, Tyler, The Creator remains our mood-board for accessories — leather flat cap and all.

Adut Akech swapped the runway for mountains

Walking us straight back into fashion week, Adut Akech proved that her Jacquemus look could serve on and off the runway. Semi-sheer in material, the dress boasted delicate leaf-like embellishments and asymmetric line detailing. Featuring multi-layered spaghetti straps and an exaggerated train, the dress offered all the dimensions with one simple hue — perfectly suited to wear across a sandy beach this summer.

Jean Paul Gaultier made it a family affair

If anyone needs to prove that good fashion can transcend any generation, the Kardashians will certainly do it. Blessing us with a trifecta of Jean Paul Gaultier’s ‘fits, Richard Masao shoots the Kardashians fresh from the front row, shades firmly positioned on their chain and ring-adorned noses. With stripes and suits set as the theme, North West chose a matching waistcoat and pleated skirt, finished with some knee-high stomping boots. As for Kim, she cinched into a maxi body con dress, fitted with a plunging nude bustier. For queen Kris, a boxy and relaxed suit was the mood — an all-too accurate reflection of the icons and their sizeable personalities.
