Let’s face it, the Glastonbury excitement had to end at some point. With us all very much ready to shove the muddy boots and festival ‘fits back into the depths of our wardrobe, we thought that it would only be fair to inject some glamour back into your lives with a look at some of the best red carpet and streetwear displays to grace our feeds this week. In this week’s Looks of the Week, we’re swapping out the festival glitter for red carpet glamour and moving from field style to street style. Our timelines have well and truly been blessed, and there is no doubt that the outfits below will serve as inspiration for your week ahead…

Lizzo served up main character energy at the BET Awards

This isn’t the first, and certainly won’t be the last time that Lizzo gave us all main character energy. Proving that you can’t ever go wrong with sexy black shimmer and extravagant feathering on the red carpet, the singing sensation took the concept of old-school Hollywood glamour to new heights at the awards ceremony with a floor-sweeping gown complete with a deep-cut neckline and elegant feather trim. It is just Lizzo’s world and we are living in it.

Jorja Smith kickstarted her new runway career, effortlessly

Let’s face it, we are all fangirling over Jorja Smith right now. The artist has proved that her talents not only lie in the recording studio this week as she made her runway debut in a triple, dare we say quadruple, denim get-up. Proving that denim-on-denim is definitely not a crime against fashion, Smith took to the runway for Marine Serre’s Sping 23 show dressed in a strapless bodycon dress that was heavily enhanced with metallic detailing including an array of oversized safety pins, key tassels, and studs. Perfect for a runway look, not so perfect for airport security? Regardless, Jorja ate.

Angus Cloud made his case for a starring role in the next Men In Black film

Chic and simplistic yet trendy and bold, it’s safe to say that Angus Cloud has well and truly mastered the art of street style. Showing off an all-black look, featuring a pair of statement dark sunglasses, the Euphoria star took to his Instagram story to remind us all why he has been hailed as fashion’s latest streetwear icon. Angus, you have done it again!

Introducing Rosalía, inventor of the big boss aesthetic

It is no secret that Rosalía can pull off any aesthetic. From giving us Britney vibes on another recent Instagram post, to her firey Motomami attire, she’s proved herself to be one of this generation’s best dressers, something she has continued to do this week. Wearing an oversized blazer courtesy of acnestudios and dark sunglasses that gave the trippy illusion that they were upside down, the singer served up big boss energy – an energy we will be taking into this new week, we might add.
