She’s interviewed everyone from Louis Theroux to Jack Harlow, Aitch to Maya Jama — but who is Amelia Dimoldenberg? Though she might not be accustomed to a sole spotlight, the Chicken Shop Date host has been enlisted by Smirnoff as the spearhead of their new summer campaign — because who else shows us a good time quite like Amelia?

“I’m very excited to team up with Smirnoff on this new summer campaign; it’s all about bringing back those spontaneous summer drinks and being experimental with fun cocktails,” says Amelia. Having flexed her culinary skills during Amelia’s Cooking Show, it only seemed right that Dimoldenberg would turn to the craft of cocktail making. With the campaign highlighting two summer-ready flavours: Smirnoff Raspberry Crush and Mango and Passionfruit Twist, Smirnoff gift us with the luxury of choice for those sunset-hued evenings spent with friends. Nonetheless, it seems that the nation’s favourite serial dater was less impartial to choice than one might think…

“The tough bit is deciding between Smirnoff’s new Mango & Passionfruit Twist and Raspberry Crush flavours… but as someone with one too many crushes, Raspberry Crush was the one for me,” she muses, “Smirnoff asked me to showcase my cocktail-making skills (naturally, they are out of this world) and I hope I inspired people to make their own recipes at home.” But as every top hostess will tell you, a cocktail evening simply would not be complete without the appropriate (and on-theme) attire.

Thankfully, Smirnoff had us covered, calling upon the fruity and fresh aesthetics of South London-based designer Asai Ta, who crafted the ultimate berry-inspired asymmetric tie-dye dress for Amelia to wear. Talking of the ASAI label, Amelia explains, “I absolutely love his designs and think he is a true original. I love wearing colour and being playful with style and his looks are totally this. You’re always going to have fun in an ASAI outfit.”

Stretched out on a lounger, flame-tinged glasses and crystal cocktail glass to hand, Amelia has shot straight to the top of our mood board for the summer. And, perfectly put by Amelia herself, “if you need me for the rest of the summer, look for the girl lounging about somewhere in an ASAI dress, sipping on a delicious cocktail.”
