Unveiling Collection 2, the contemporary brand is looking to build upon its core collection of wardrobe staples by unveiling what is best described as a “thoughtful edit”, that has been crafted to contain four timeless shirts for men, as well as the first addition to the brand’s trousers repertoire. With princess-esque puff sleeves and classic shirtdresses joining an already irresistible collection of womenswear from Saywood, the brand has fleshed out its core cuts with its second venture, all whilst remaining true to its slow fashion ethos by turning to the wonders of deadstock to inform its latest move.

“The second collection is a continued conversation of the capsule wardrobe. It builds upon the first collection, adding more colourful staples and includes some neater fits, puff sleeves and, for the first time, trousers; a wide leg culotte silhouette,” explains founder Harriet Saywood-Bellisario when talking about her brand’s latest release. “I am excited to be introducing menswear for the first time too, after many requests and interest in pop-ups. The menswear has been designed to sit alongside the womenswear collection and to bring a unique take on the classic men’s shirt through colour and Saywood detail. Inspiration for the collection has very much come from the deadstock clothes I have been able to source, and the continuous building upon the colourful capsule wardrobe, as well as inspirational conversations with customers and the Saywood community.”
