Yes, the rain may be setting in, but there is no need to panic, as we are looking to bring the shine to your day with this week’s Beauty Looks of the Week. With Doja Cat and iann dior taking to Instagram to prove that the bigger the drip, the better, and Saweetie and Ariana Grande introducing us to what we are sure to be our new favourite beauty trends, we think there is nothing left to do but invite you to enjoy this week’s round-up…

Doja Cat had Barbie shaking in her candyfloss-coloured boots

Doja Cat just claimed pink as her colour, and after seeing these pics, we are not mad about it at all. Taking to the ‘gram this week, the rap and singing sensation dripped herself all the way out in the candyfloss-hued bikini that dreams are made of. With everything from flame and dog bone motifs to physical lighters and lock and keys dangling from the dripped out bra, the look was as much of a statement as it was a visual delight. With baby pink nails, dusty blue lids and an eclectic necklace also featuring, it is safe to say that Doja Cat took over our feeds with ease this week. Barbie, wherever you are, we hope you and your brand are safe.

Vanessa Hudgens was in her Pulp Fiction bag

While most movies are made famous by their one-liners or tear-jerking music scores, sometimes, they are made iconic by their beauty looks – and, Pulp Fiction is one of those movies. With Uma Thurman’s Mia Wallace putting the curled and crisp-fringed bob on the beauty map as one of the most iconic styles of all time, it is no wonder that when attending the MTV Movie and TV Awards, actress Vanessa Hudgens turned to the haircut. Serving up Pulp Fiction realness in style, Hudgens adopted the bob and made it her own by injecting it was an electrifying cherry red colour. If there is a Pulp Fiction remake, we want to see Vanessa in it!

Saweetie wore undereye-shadow, so now we wear undereye-shadow

We are all partial to a wild, OTT makeup look – but Saweetie’s is one that definitely takes the cake. Yes, eyeshadow is a thing you’d associate with your lids and – if in a daring mood – potentially the waterline or dare we say, inner corner. But, Saweetie is here to rewrite the shadow rules. Sweeping a vivid aqua blue and candy-like purple from the tip of her nose all the way to her temples, we were treated to a rainbow of shadows, melted together to form something akin to facepaint. BRB, just off to cover our face in eyeshadow.

It was feather lashes and Euphoria-esque graphic liner for Ariana Grande

The fake lash just got a makeover thanks to Ariana Grande. Debuting a false lash like no other, the pop sensation brought the dramatics this week with the addition of wispy, extended feathers to the end of her already thick lashes. And, what would a makeup look be without a nod to the Euphoria glam team? With graphic, brow-placed liner getting the once over by a set of silver gemstones, Ari’s face proved to be a feast for the eyes. The fluttery lash needs to move over, there is a new lash fad taking over the town.

iann dior turned up and dripped out in grills and white polish

What better way to round off this week’s beauty list than with a set of gleaming grills? Taking to Instagram to show off his set of crystal-encrusted accessories, rapper iann dior put on a dazzling display for his 1.6M followers this week. And, with a pristine white manicure on display, it became clear that the musical maverick has been indulging in some well-deserved me-time, as well as expanding his jewellery collection. Live your best, iann!
