Giving us a heavy dose of confidence and sass with her new release is singer-songwriter MuMu with “The Bitch in Me”. Combining an essence of R&B with heavy guitars and a pounding bass line, the artist instantly has us feeling empowered and sexy across a punchy and heart-racing production. Not one to shy away from making her point known, the artist puts on a rich performance and lays down the law in her latest single.

“When brainstorming this video with Serena, we talked about the way we judge people the hardest when they remind us of parts of ourselves we don’t like,” the artist said when discussing the video. “So while the song is a bitchy bitching fest, the video is about realizing my own hypocrisy. The video is a confession, an apology, a love story, and most importantly… an opportunity for me to make-out with myself.”

Accompanying the single with a sensual visual, MuMu takes us to a sultry backroom where rollerblades, face masks and feather fans are a must. Having released her last EP “Ladies First” back in 2019, we’re counting down the moments until her next, as we’re already craving more.
