It goes without saying, but new music Fridays are probably our favourite day of the week, and at the top of our playlists this week is Adam Brian Paul’s debut album For The Good. Easing us into a woozy soundscape filled with indie-pop sensibilities and smooth guitar lead melodies, the artist delivers a slick project that perfectly encapsulates his sounds and persona. From the melancholic “Already Know” to the Christina Aguilera inspired “Beautiful”, Paul introduces us to the depths of his mind and creativity, while expanding out of his signature bedroom pop sound.

Breaking down the candid release from the album “WATLIOM”, the artist disclosed, “This is my favourite track on the record. I wrote this during an unexpected two-week quarantine in Vancouver when I was waiting to fly back to Montreal in the summer of 2020. It felt weird being back home yet being alone in quarantine, waiting for life to start. I felt free though.”

Having first made his step into the music scene with his debut EP “wait?” in 2020, Paul has gone to further explore his sound and tenaciously experiment with various melodies and productions. With his introspective release standing as a statement from the artist, we think big things are soon to come his way.
