Triumphant and light, the single starts with an anthemic feel-good beat while the accompanying music video shows scenes of a car heading aimlessly down an empty motorway. Suddenly, CeCe’s angelic vocals cascade to the forefront, singing a twinkling verse that depict the early stages of falling in love. While a group of carefree teenagers break out into the world – whether on trolleys or motorbikes – CeCe exclaims “let’s hang out ‘till we hate each other”. Showcasing the uncomfortable truth that many euphoric moments end in heartache, CeCe embraces the inevitable, and charges into new relationships with a charmingly pessimistic attitude.

Elaborating further on the tracks visual, she explains, “This is my favorite video I’ve ever made. When Conner and I were coming up with the concept, we wanted it to feel raw, authentic, and joyful, and then all the pieces just seemed to fall into place. Having my friends out there with me and getting to have my first track day on my bike with actual motorcycle racers was a dream come true. The whole day took me back to being a kid when my buddies would ride their dirt bikes over to our farm on Saturday mornings. AND I got to hang out the window of a Bronco so it doesn’t really get much better than that.”
