They say that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, and Jamie Hannah’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” is proof of this. Drawing inspiration from Queen’s iconic tune of the same name, the artist is bringing you a truly dramatic cut that blends the operatic sensibilities of the iconic anthem with his own, elevated take on pop. And the result? The track’s haunting undertones and the ethereal choir that features culminate in a listen that will have you captivated.

“Freddie Mercury started writing “Bohemian Rhapsody” in the 60s and the track was finally recorded and released by Queen in 1975. Although at the time considered controversial, the final six-minute iconic mini rock opera became the band’s defining song. It openly used strong operatic overtones in a way that had never been heard in pop music before,” explains the artist when pondering the work and artist that inspired his most recent release.
