From cocktail evenings to streetwear style, Kali Uchis, Dua Lipa and Angus Cloud show us how it’s done in this week’s fashion roundup.
It’s Monday, which can only mean one thing — we’re coming in hot with some more fashion inspo. Whether you have a cocktail party on the horizon or are looking for a new and improved streetwear style, the likes of Kali Uchis, Dua Lipa and Angus Cloud have been serving it all. And with the height of summer creeping closer and closer, there is no better excuse to indulge in a little helping of wardrobe rejuvenation.

Angus Cloud pops a squat in style
Serving us a Euphoria and American Psycho crossover, Angus Cloud came to the ‘grid with a powder blue boiler suit completed with a matching Burberry bucket hat. Tying the look together with a pair of Reebok classics, Angus’ latest style transformation is not for the faint of heart. Far departed from the stylistic habits of Fezco, we are living for Angus’ new avant-garde wardrobe — and cannot wait to see what head scarf and hat combo is coming next.

Power suits are really having their moment, and adding a diamond-dripping twist, Jacquemus dresses Dua Lipa in a crystallised dad blazer and wide leg trousers. Consisting of various shades of blue, from royal jewel tones to a bright Tiffany blue, the hanging droplets coordinate effortlessly with Lipa’s exaggerated hoop earrings and powdered eyeshadow. Channelling her inner Pretty Woman, Lipa and Jacquemus form our latest fashion power couple.
Megan Thee Stallion owns an ombré look
Though most traction was gained from Megan’s iconic Mugler jumpsuit during her performance at last night’s BBMA’s, we needed to spare a moment for her ombré red-carpet look. With a rose-coloured cream blending seamlessly into a jet black material, the dress’s silhouette emanated a Grecian style — finished with a risqué twist. At the side of Megan’s mini skirt, a horse-shoe shaped accent pulls the material apart, exposing a hint of the artist’s hip, adoring her waistline with some subtle sparkle.
Iris Law channels her inner Ashley Tisdale circa 2005
There is nothing that haunts us more than the red carpet looks of Disney’s archives. From Ashley Tisdale’s dresses over jeans saga to Selena Gomez’s multi-layered vests, our inner fashion fanatics have been desperately trying to forget the sins of millennials’ past. And yet, proving that style will always come back around, Iris Law showcased her go-to daywear — featuring bootleg jeans layered with a Nike tennis skirt. Accessorized with layered tops, dad trainers and some Apple headphones, Iris is our new Y2K frontrunner.
When it comes to cocktail attire, few understand the assignment. Yet obliterating the theme with full force, Kali Uchis arrived at the Latin American Music Awards dressed in a hot fuchsia gown. With a deep-V back, the dress is compiled of horizontally-laid fringing that parts at the bottom into two handheld trains — serving Latin energy with a Kali Uchis edge. Though the fit appears to be just as much of an arm workout as it is an outfit, it really was the crowning jewel of last week’s serves.
