We are here to kick your mundane Monday into high gear with the help of emerging indie trio, Mike Rogers. Treating us to their bold and brazen new release, “Can’t Stop”, the surge of electric guitars and a pensive bass promise to pierce your soul upon first listen, as a melting pot of production and instrumentation culminates into an ear-worming sound. And, with a gut-wrenching narrative on the trials and tribulations of loneliness delivered to us in the band’s impeccable vocals, it is fair to say that you will be rendered spellbound by the collective.

Speaking cryptically on their newest cut, the trio shares, “In our minds that year was a year where we had a lot of questions. Like, what is freedom, what should one fight for, how should one fight for something, how do we move forward as a society and also, how do we judge our past behaviour. We believe questions are the biggest inspirator. We’re trying to ask questions more than to send a message, although that’s also a bit of a vision we want to share.”

While the above is proof enough that the airwaves are sure to be dominated by the band’s sound this year, Mike Rogers have plans for musical success beyond the boundaries of 2022. With their debut albums set to arrive in the early months of 2023, it is fair to say that “Can’t Stop” is just the beginning of a very long and successful journey. Watch this space!
