Coming from experimental artist Lazer Viking ahead of the upcoming release of his album Tunnel Vision, “Yr Body” stands as a drop sure to capture your attention. With a muted tone and infectiously inconsistent production culminating in a sound unlike any other you would have heard this week, Lazer Viking breaks genre barriers here as he carves out a unique space for himself in the music sphere with his newest cut.

To make this release all the more compelling, we have also been treated to the release of the track’s avant garde music video. Dreamed up by director Jay Walker, the song can be seen playing over a set of sarcastic-tinged scenes reflective of those intimate and sometimes awkward moments spent within a therapist’s office. Proof that Lazer Viking disregards the label ‘musician’ and situates himself as a true artist, “Yr Body” is a project sure to delight.

“We were looking to subvert the traditional concept of what a pop music video looks and feels like but stay within the confines of the format at the same time,” explains Lazer Viking when discussing the new video. “What Jay brought to the plate made such a tall order feel effortless. She’s a stone-cold pro and I’m grateful to have finally gotten to work with her. We’ve been following each other for years but never really had the chance to collaborate until now. It was definitely worth the wait and definitely not the last time.”
