When it comes to making a debut, few leave an impact quite like the soulful sounds of Chris de Sarandy in his painfully relatable track, “Good Girl, Sad Boy”. Delving into the blurring of love and lust within a relationship, Chris submerges his listeners into his conversational approach to lyricism — leaning into real-life issues over a rhythmic melody. Though filled with an addictive flow, the track is underpinned by hints of melancholy — demonstrating Chris’ ability to build a multi-layered narrative that is as satisfying as it is introspective.

On his artistry, Chris explains, “I want to write the kind of music people can relate to and feel where it was written from. I want them to understand and relate to me and my writing, and for my message to come across.”

With “Good Girl, Sad Boy” marking his first drop of the year, it is safe to say that Chris de Sarandy has solidified himself as one to watch. To listen to the track now, scroll below…
