There is nothing more soothing than the sweet sounds of jazz, and artist Judi Jackson is here to serve us some with her new track “River”. A mellow, all-consuming tune that masterfully unites classical and jazz-tinged instrumentation with angelic vocals akin to those of iconic artists of the past, listeners will have their souls set ablaze upon first listen of the song which has been hacked straight from the artist’s debut album, Grace.

When discussing the new track, Judi explained, “The song ‘River’ for me is about the flow of life in music and love. And it means the world to me because this album means the world to me and this is the first music video from the album. It felt amazing to create the music video, I had so much fun making it! Big thank you to Sony and the team – I can’t wait for everyone to see it!”

To round off what can best be described as one of our favourite drops of the week, Judi has also released the track’s music video. Dressed in a satin slip under the haze of dim lighting, the sultry tone of the song is physicalised as Judi serenades her fans in a truly awe-invoking manner. One worthy of a listen, “River” stands as a sonic delight.
