There is no denying that there was plenty of talent brimming from this week’s iHeartRadio Music Awards, but the main takeaway of the evening for us had to be Halsey’s look — which she slayed from her aquamarine lashes to her jewel-encrusted toes. Giving us a close-up of her award-winning beat, she layers sea-foam hues of blue and purple, adding a touch of mermaid-inspired glitter on the inner corners of her lids. In a manner that Euphoria’s Maddy Perez would applaud, Halsey becomes our new inspo-board for against-the-grain glam.

When it comes to serving for the ‘gram, Lizzo always eats. Proving no different in her recent post, she unveils her distressed space-buns, served with a side of sticky bangs. Taking laid edges to a whole new level, the singer slicks her fringe into a side part, which descends into an intricate swirly pattern round the cheeks. Providing a graphic frame for her face, Lizzo keeps it peachy — with a rose-coloured blush flushing her cheeks and brow-bones, providing that sugar-sweet sun-kissed appeal.

The only thing more mesmerising than Doja Cat’s stage presence is her beauty looks, which gave us an intergalactic barbie vibe as she performed at Lollapalooza Argentina at the weekend. Fitted with a candy-floss-pink wig, the artist gave her do an edge by cutting a razor sharp point into its fringe. Pointing down towards her snatched face, Doja keeps warm tones at the forefront. Swiping a dusty pink across her acrylic nails, lids, cheeks and lips, she gets us all under the influence of her rose-tinted spell.

Serving a thirst-trap with a twist, Megan Thee Stallion takes to Instagram to show off her Invader Zim-inspired fresh set. While the characters of the sci-fi dark comedy series are carefully painted over her nail beds, she also shows off a brand new silhouette for our nail techs to take for a spin. Slanting the edges of her nails, the diagonal look is certainly one way to jazz up your style at your next infill appointment. As Cardi B showcases a voluminous Hollywood-glam beehive while posing for the ‘gram, we are officially convinced her hair is full of secrets. Washed over in a deep cherry red colour, the up-do is classic yet dramatic — much like the artist herself. Though her outfit may be casual, Cardi never sleeps when it comes to makeup. With an exaggerated cut crease and elongated wing, Cardi leaves most of her contouring to the brows, which lift and lengthen her flawless face. It’s giving Meredith Blake on an off-duty day, and we are absolutely here for it.

Of course, it wouldn’t really be a beauty roundup if there wasn’t at least one snapshot of Bella Hadid. So bringing this week’s looks to a close, we have Bella and a perfectly executed smokey eye. Smudging a single wing into the main pocket of her eyelid and into the waterline, the look elongates her eyes while emanating an effortless aesthetic. Paired with a your-skin-but-better style finish, the slicked-back look nods to the 90s where less definitely gave us more.
