It’s been a whirlwind week of runways, award ceremonies and shameless selfie taking. And as it’s Thursday, and we are right on the cusp of another promising weekend, we have created a round-up of some of the best looks we are desperate to recreate. So from the likes of Selena Gomez to Megan Thee Stallion, scroll below to see the best looks to debut this week…

BEAUTY LOOKS OF THE WEEK
Selena Gomez, Maya Jama and Megan Thee Stallion feature in our weekly beauty round-up.
Selena’s SAG Award selfie
Kicking things off, Selena Gomez shows off her Rare Beauty range in a mirror selfie before the award ceremony on Sunday night. With her bun slicked back and secured with a velvet bow, full focus is given to her cheekbones, brushed with an opalescent highlight to compliment the layered diamonds of her vintage choker. Keeping the rest of the face under a neutral palette, an added pop of colour is provided by her emerald-painted nails and sizeable cocktail ring. It’s a winning beauty look for us.
Maya Jama came with the curls
Though she’s never one to shy away from dramatic hair changes, Maya Jama chose a classic beach-wave look for a night out with her friends. In a tousled style, the curls look both effortless and elegant, and lend a perfect frame to a fully snatched beat. Contoured with warm caramel tones, her bone structure is made all the more noticeable — with sharp liner on the inner and outer corners of the eye aiding a feline vibe.
Megan Thee Stallion is feeling blue
Gone are the days of mood rings and fortune teller fish, as Megan Thee Stallion shows your mood can be told directly from your head. With a wig which is perfectly laid against the rapper’s face, colours of deep-sea blue and cobalt blend together to create an Aquamarine-esque look. Matching her shadow to her new hair, a subtle smokey blue is etched under the lower lash line, with a silver shimmer swatching the main base. Keeping things dewy, the look is finished with some sheer-glossed lips, making the beat perfect for day-to-night wearing.
According to Yara Shahidi, three braids are better than two
Next up we have Yara Shahidi dressed in Paris-approved attire for Dior. What really made the look for us however was the actress’s fun spin on Britney Spears braids — adding in an extra one for good measure. With a gel-slicked side part, she separates the hair into three sections, creating thick belly-length braids in the process. As a result, Yara can slay from every angle — perfect to make a statement from behind while seated in the front row.
Sydney Sweeney revisits Oklahoma
As Euphoria season two comes to a bitter end, Sydney Sweeney is hanging up Cassie’s open-toe sandals to become Penny Jo Poplin, her new character in the upcoming movie National Anthem. Taking to the ‘gram, she unveils her new aesthetic complete with a rosy-red bandana and a face full of freckles. Bereft of the dramatic eye-looks native to a Euphoria set, Sweeney looks into the distance with stripped back dough eyes under a full fringe. With any luck, she’ll be back on our screens in no time.
Charlie XCX shows off a fresh set
One accessory you never have to take off is your nails, and making sure they are always on point, Charli shows off a fresh set of extensions — complete with reflective tips which shimmer in the camera lights. Though stealing much of the focus of the shot, we need a moment for her wings, where there is not one but two perfectly executed liners. Layering a mocha shade over jet black, the look is a bow to the 90s with a modern edge, and will be the first makeup look we will be recreating this weekend.
Kendall Jenner channels her ginger spice
Though many were watching Kendall Jenner strut up a storm on the Prada runway, we were more focused on her hair — as she unveils a dark auburn dye job. Washed over with golden notes, the fiery look is a match made in heaven for Kendall’s honey complexion, making her look instantly ready for summer. With blondes and brunettes alike going crazy for ginger transformations at the moment, we know it’s only a matter of time before we follow suit.
