Is it just us who is suffering from a Euphoria-sized hole in our hearts? Well, Murkage Dave is here to remedy this, as he drops the visuals for his heart-felt track, “Us Lot”.
With the visual buzz of neon lighting and glitter of reflective streamers culminating in a divine aesthetic akin to that of the hit HBO show, viewers are set to be instantly mesmerised by the music video as we see the singer-songwriter and fellow party-goers get lost in a hedonistic party, whilst listening to his new tune. And, while visually impressive, that is not to say that the track’s message or Dave’s captivating gets lost in its irresistible haze.
“‘Us Lot’ is a love song for every misunderstood friend, every black sheep, every prodigal child,” explains Dave when discussing the premise of the track. “I’d like to think I’ve written it for a few people I’m close to, but maybe it’s just a letter to myself – I haven’t fully worked it out yet.”
