It goes without saying, but there is a gloomy misty cloud hanging over London right now, and quite frankly it’s ruining the vibe. With the obvious now stated, it is fair to say that a vibrant pop of colour is just the remedy we seek to distract us from the mundane British climate. Luckily, Dior has heard our cries, and has unveiled its lively Spring-Summer 2022 campaign.

A technicolour ode to the work of famed artist Anna Paparatti, Creative Director of the house Maria Grazia Chiuri, has looked to celebrate her recent SS22 collection with a vivid campaign. Set against a monochromatic zebra crossing-esque backing, playfully infiltrated by bursts of colour, the collection’s colour-block aesthetic is able to capture the eye with ease. With models draped in the cubic silhouettes and 3D embroidered cuts synonymous with the RTW collection shown in Paris last year, and some of its more celebrated accessories including the miniature Lady Dior Bag, photographer Brigitte Niedermai masterfully channels the life of the original show into each image.

With an energising campaign video also set ablaze by the flash of lasers and that same block colour palette, the joyous undertone of the collection makes itself known once more, proving that Dior is looking to keep things just as bright in 2022.
