With his debut album Goodbye honing his unique soundscape of futuristic R&B, Myles Lloyd offers an exciting new shift with a brand new eight-track effort Forever, Yours. While his previous tracks depict a story of letting go and forgetting the past, Forever, Yours promotes a healthy outlook of saying goodbye — focusing on the memories, emotions and experiences to cherish even if the people involved are no longer a part of the future. Pulsating with funky 80s synths and ethereal notes, the tracks culminate a nostalgic yet modern feel, a groove akin to the sounds of The Weeknd. With tracks like “Counting Days” sampling Myles’ ability to blend complex emotions with vulnerable narratives and infectious melodies, the playlist will be streaming on loop for the foreseeable.

Speaking of the shift in messages of his first and second albums, Myles explains, “But how realistic is it to leave everything in the past and never think about it again. To never wonder how life would be with a do over. So many scenarios and thoughts can play in your head and it’s normal.”
