With the excitement of the new year fading and a frost February ahead of us, you may currently be on the hunt for the next series worthy of a binge-watch. Well, fear not as we have just the thing for you. With All of Us Are Dead currently taking over Netflix, we thought that a celebratory round-up of all of the Korean dramas worthy of a binge was fitting. So, head below to enjoy…

All of us are Dead

First up is the show currently taking Netflix by storm, All of Us Are Dead. And, one quick glance at the trailer will give you an insight just as to why the 12-part series is skyrocketing to the helm of Netflix watch lists. With a plot centred around a disease-ridden mouse, a high school that experiences suspicious disappearances and a bloody zombie apocalypse prepare yourself for hours of binge-watching.

Hellbound

Next up is – you guessed it – a truly hellish thriller that will have tensions running high and fear levels through the roof. Netflix’s Hellbound brings the dark mysteries of the underworld into the present day as dark prophecies – all of which come to fruition –  give rise to a sadistic cult hell-bent on the notion of divine justice. With the borders of good and evil challenged, Yeon Sang-ho’s thriller is one sure to have you gripped.

Extracurricular

The dangers of a double life are explored in Kim Jin-min’s Extracurricular. When top-scoring student, Oh Ji-soo, is caught out by classmate Bae Gyu-ri, who confronts him about the illegal and potentially threatening work he does in order to fund a more luxurious lifestyle, the pair embark on a journey of criminal activity together. But, with unforgivable secrets surfacing, curious classmates observing, and the dangers of their secret lives becoming all the more apparent, it becomes clear that the criminals are unable to outrun their fate.

The Silent Sea

A dystopian future is the setting of our last drama, as the likes of Squid Game’sGong Yoo and Heo Sung-tae star in the chilling The Silent Sea. With a rapidly depleting water supply sending the world into panic, a band of brave space explorers are sent to recover potentially groundbreaking information from an abandoned Moon-bound research facility. But, when they arrive, it becomes clear that the Moon’s perils are far greater than those on earth. With a deadly mission ahead and the future of the world in their hands, watchers are left begging the question: who will survive?
