While the extravagance of the fashion world is a joy to behold, it is fair to say that when it comes to some of the largest brands currently available to shop, the consumers are looking for one thing and one thing only: a sustainability-focused ethos. With this in mind, Moncler has announced its pledge to go fur-free alongside the release of its latest campaign.

Unveiling its second Moncler Born To Protect collection, the Italian luxury fashion brand is looking to reflect its newfound forward-thinking ethos in a line littered with sustainable elements. With fur abandoned and replaced by recycled nylon, polyester and organic cotton, an array of ready-to-wear cuts, all of which radiate the brand’s chic-yet-sharp streetwear style, are catapulted into the modern day with their environmentally conscious core.

Proving further that a new ethos does not have to result in a compromisation on style, the house has also unveiled an alpine-bound video comprised of ‘recycled’ footage plucked from its archives. Perfectly acknowledging the house’s affinity for the mountains whilst also poetically reflecting its commitment to sustainability, the campaign is the perfect ode to the bright future of Moncler.
