With hump day in full swing, many of us are looking for a boost of energy in a bid to quell those dreaded mid-week blues. Well, artist on the rise, yunè pinku, has just the thing, as she unveils her new track “Affection”. Cut from her hotly-anticipated debut EP, “Bluff”, the artist’s cut showcases her affinity for crafting beats, as listeners are treated to a surging bass and an infectiously chaotic layering of sounds, resulting in the formation of an other-worldly soundscape. And, with the multi-facet’s enchanting vocals also featuring, it becomes evident that yunè pinku is a true musical force, sure to dominate 2022 with her energising sound.

“’Affection’ is about all the work we put in to get the attention of a crowd or a person but feeling dissatisfied when you get it,” explains the artist when speaking on the track’s premise. “I think it was a really fun one to make because it just had a lot of energy, but it’s a bit moodier than other pieces I’ve made.”

And, while the warped notes of pinku’s new track are enough to warrant her worthy of attention, the accompanying visuals for it make this all the more certain. Viewers are invited into the artist’s trippy Y2K dreamland, which is washed over with an iridescent haze and frequented by fairies, proving that the artist’s aesthetics, much like her sound, are on a scale transcendent of this planet.
