While it may only be Monday, this past week has been flooded with Menswear shows, kicking off fashion month in an unwavering style. But bringing more to the table than just collections and shows is Gucci with their new NFT venture.
Teaming up with SUPERPLASTIC, the Italian house unveils, SUPERGUCCI. Releasing on February 1st, the pair will unveil an uber-limited series of NFT’s, all artisanal in nature. With SUPERPLASTIC’s virtual artist, Janky & Guggimon, diving into the Gucci Vault to collect the house’s iconic codes and motifs, the drop becomes riddled with high fashion sensibilities. Comprised of 10 different NFT’s, each joined by an IRL ceramic sculpture, shoppers will be able to enjoy their new purchases, both inside and out of the metaverse.
And, as if that wasn’t enough, in conjuncture with the drop, Gucci’s Vault has unlocked itself once more, to offer its customers some delicious vintage pieces.
