FKA Twigs and The Weeknd – “Tears in the Club”

We’ve had a lot of collaborations this year, but one we didn’t see coming was FKA Twigs and The Weeknd. Dropping their new single “Tear in the Club” today, the duo ride the experimental production with intertwining the vocals with retro synths and subtle auto tune. With this single marking the start of a new relationship for the two, we hope more new music is on the way.

Clavish – “2022”

Coming at us fast this week with fierce trap heavy production is Clavish with his debut EP “2022”. Narrating his story with five hard hitting track, the artist leads his vocals to a plethora of genre-bending melodies, ranging from menacing grime-influenced beats to smooth piano-led harmonies. With Clavish making his entrance with this project, it’s fair to say 2022 is looking like a huge year for the rapper.

PYNGU – “Everytime”

Serving us some new energy with this futuristic pop anthem is German newcomer, PYNGU. His first single, a collab with Loveday, was a smash hit and PYNGU took it to the next level for this track. With velvety smooth vocals and electric beats, this tune is sure to get you up on that dancefloor.

KYLE – “Perfect”

With it being Friday, we’re looking for any reason to celebrate and singer-songwriter KYLE is coming through with the vibe. Dropping his new banger “Perfect” today, the singer propels us into a pop-fiesta brimming with fun-flecked melodies and effervescent energy. Put this on full blast to get into the weekend mood.

Roddy Ricch – “Live Life Fast”

It’s been a longtime coming, but Roddy Ricch has finally dropped his sophomore project and the wait was worth it. Clocking in at 50 minutes, the 18-track masterpiece features a slew appearance from Future and 21 Savage. Filled with trap-heavy productions and a variety of slick quick witted bars, the rapper did not disappointment and proved his back for the taking.

Fyfe – “Games”

Taking slow as we finish the year is Fyfe with his eight-track EP “Games”. Gently ushering us into a slow-burning soundscape filled with warped vocals and subtle elements of alt-pop, the artist bends the norm of the genre and distinctively creates his own lane. Making his mark with track “Looks the Same”, Fyfe embodies all things experimental and rides the soft production into a sweet ecstasy.

Black Sherif, Burna Boy – “Second Sermon”

Ending this Wonderlist with a bang is Black Sherif with “Second Sermon”. Laced with high energy and feel good vibes the artist effortlessly rides the hip-hop infused production and catches every reverb and hook. Bringing the summer vibes to a freezing winter, we suggest putting this on your playlist for that holiday feeling.
