Well, all of this and more is what is being served up by the Caribbean songstress Gianni Mae on her new track “Black Girl Magic”.

When speaking on the meaning behind her track, Gianni claimed, “this record is for all Black women, all my sisters, mothers and daughters. I want every single Black woman who listens to ‘Black Girl Magic’ to feel divine, fierce and sensual. No matter what your background is, as a Black woman you can relate to this anthem.”

And, if Gianni’s lyrical flow and messages of empowerment weren’t enough to render you amazed, the track’s official music video is sure to do the trick. Watchers are invited into the depths of a party where the artist and her friends let loose as the dance moves and vibes flow freely, firmly consolidating every word penned in the track. Discussing the music video, the artist then goes on to state, “the video is ‘Black Girl Magic’ in itself. All the Black women in the video bring their own unique presence to the screen. I wanted to make sure that the video stood for community and togetherness. So the mission was to get a big group of Black women together and have us all shine in the video and make the video ooze with our divine presence and I believe we captured exactly that.”
