Inspired by the overhearings of a 4 AM session of debauchery, the Australia-born artist puts his smooth spoken verses and pure falsetto to good use, interlacing it with a euphoric melody and warped textures to lull his listeners.. The layered production and soothing vocals are just a taste of the artist’s ability to create immersive experiences through audible and visual expression.

Speaking of the release of the single, Chatburn explains, “This aligns well for me with the entire album, it is these moments which we need to let go of ourselves in order to experience life. I wanted to produce something which everyone can get both musically and lyrically.”

Staying true to his garnered soulful sound, “Howling” hones in on a new perspective of 70s soul and modern hip-hop. The tracks honest reflection of day-to-day life along with the dream-like aesthetic of the albums artwork has us officially counting down the days until Chatburn’s second album release in early 2022.
