Silky bantu knots, chunky glitter shadow and sunset locks: Rihanna, Lili Reinhart and Kevin Abstract are here to serve up your weekly dose of beauty inspiration in this week’s beauty round-up.
It’s Thursday, and that can only mean one thing – it is time for your weekly dose of beauty inspiration. And, from the likes of Rihanna putting her latest Fenty products to good use to Lili Reinhart and Kevin Abstract encouraging us to practically sprint to the shops to purchase hair dye and glitter, all of our favourite celebrities have banded together to provide us with bundles of ideas for our next makeup looks or hair transitions.
Head below to enjoy…
It’s official, Rihanna is the queen of beauty
There is only one woman worthy of kicking off this week’s round-up, and it’s Rihanna. Proving why her beauty mogul status is more than deserved, the multi-faceted talent took to Instagram to offer her devoted followers a tutorial on how to utilise her newest Fenty Beauty product, the coral-toned Resting Peach Face cream blush. And, the result? A rosy display including a subtle peachy lid and a base aglow with pink tones. But, while the makeup look was enough to warrant Rihanna the top spot in this week’s round-up, her silky locks, styled into adorable bantu knots and accompanying 4-piece plaits, cemented her place with ease.
Rico Nasty served up a extraterrestrial beauty moment, and we were here for it
We are always in the mood for an avant-garde serve, and that is exactly what Rico Nasty gave us this week. Sticking to her irreverent approach to crafting looks, an electric neon green and metallic grape mullet provided the perfect colour palette for the rapper to match her extravagant eyeshadow moment to. With a simple circular pattern standing as the replacement for Rico’s eyebrows and sporadically-placed lashes working to accentuate the star’s dramatic liner, the look became one of the most eccentric to grace our TLs this week.
Kevin Abstract has sunset hair, so now we have sunset hair
Now, it is no surprise that Brockhampton’s frontman and style icon Kevin Abstract finds himself on this week’s Beauty Looks of the Week. All it takes is a quick glance through the musician’s Instagram to realise that he is unafraid to push style boundaries and express his quirky personality through his appearance, attributes that have allowed him to be considered one of the most fashionable names in the alternative music scene. And, for this week’s display, Kevin has turned to two vibrant mustard and muted coral hues to colour his hair, culminating in the fiery sunset tone that hair dreams are made of. BRB, we are just off to buy some hair dye.

With party season fast approaching, we are all currently searching for the looks we will be serving up at the NYE bashes and Christmas family dinners. And, thanks to Lili Reinhart, we now know exactly what makeup look we will be sporting for the remainder of the festive period. With rough chunks of glitter adorning the actor’s lids, a look akin to the reflective surface of an irresistible disco ball, Lili looked party-ready. Thanks for getting us into the festive spirit, Lili.
Yara Shahidi and her perfect waves gave us goddess energy
This week’s most wholesome display comes courtesy of Grown-ish’s Yara Shahidi and her luscious locks. Exuding pure goddess vibes, Yara Shahidi put on a display of natural beauty, one that was filled with a neutral beat and the ripples of her cascading waves.
All hail Priya Ragu’s eye art
Rounding off this week’s round-up is one of the fastest emerging artists currently making waves in the music scene with a look that perfectly taps into her personal vibe. Donning a red racer jacket and Matrix-esque sunglasses, Priya Ragu ensured that her aesthetic was on par with her vocal abilities at her most recent performance – and, her manipulation of eyeliner ensured that this was the case. Showing off a floating eyeliner look that swept past her eyebrows and laid parallel to the flick of another lid-adorning and razor-sharp liner, the artist proved that wearable art is her bag, and we are here for it.
