Beautiful Parisian settings, Lily Collins’ perfectly-arched eyebrows, and some very bold outfit choices it looks like Emily in Paris is back. The first feature length trailer for season two has just dropped, and it’s making us want to escape to the French capital immediately. Hitting Netflix on December 22nd, the release of the brand new season is just like Christmas arriving early.
The new season involves more of Emily’s (Lily Collins) antics in the French capital. Picking up from we left off, the trailer displays the American’s difficulty of trying to forget her one-night-stand with Gabriel – the dreamy chef who lives downstairs, and previous lover of her friend, Camille. In the two-minute trailer, we were offered looks into Emily’s next moves, including new lovers, travels to St. Tropez and even more work drama.
More excitingly, Lily Collins is producing the new episodes, promising an even better season than before. “For me as Emily, but also as a producer, after season one, hearing people’s thoughts, concerns, questions, likes, dislikes, just feelings about it, there were certain things that spoke to the time that we’re living in and what’s right, and moral and correct and should be done,” she says. “I really wanted diversity and inclusion in front of and behind the camera to be something that we really put our focus on, in a lot of ways.”
