It’s been a longtime coming, but after heaps of teasers and revelations the trailer for Spider-Man is here. Dropping last night, the trailer throws us back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe where Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) deals with the repocussion of a botched spell. In a bid, to escape his identify being revealed, Spider-Man must enter a variety of multi-verses to save his future.

With Zendaya returning as MJ, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr Strange, we are also spoiled with the iconic villains of the superhero’s past. Alfred Molina’s highly-anticipated revival of Doctor Octopus confirms a multiverse approach to the latest film. Consolidating fan’s hopeful speculation that we will witness an onslaught of Spider-Man’s most sinister enemies, the new trailer sets the rumours ablaze as fierce scenes featuring Sandman, Electro, The Lizard and the Green Goblin explode on the big screen.

With the trailer filled with explosives scenes, quick-witted humour and incredible stunts, we’re sitting on the edge our seats in anticipation.
