With the fashion calendar having been abandoned by some of the industry’s front runners, it is fair to say that we can never really predict when we will next be treated to a new collection. But, in a bid to ensure that we are not completely in the dark, Dior unveils that its Fall 2022 Men’s Show is on its way.
Heading towards its in-person and runway-bound unveiling on December 9th, the French house has looked to consolidate its longstanding relationship with the UK, which commenced during its first show in 1947, by allowing artistic director Kim Jones to return to his home city of London to dream up the newest line of menswear cuts.
“We are delighted to be presenting our Fall men’s collection abroad once again, and to be reconnecting with the ‘physical’ runway, an experience that is more important than ever,” explains Chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture, Pietro Beccari. “We are proud and excited to be bringing this unique event to life in London, a particularly symbolic destination dear to Monsieur Dior and the House since 1947. London is of course also the city closest to Kim Jones’ heart, where he was born and where he lives, which inspires him with its inexhaustible creativity and which he loves deeply.”
