The moment you have been waiting for is finally here. After countless teasers, announcements and BTS looks at the cast in all of its glory, HBO Max has finally dropped the first official teaser trailer for the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That.

Whilst the trailer stands at under one minute long in duration, fans of the hit show can now consider themselves fed as we are warmly welcomed back into the concrete haven known as Sex and the City‘s New York in the new clip. As original cast members Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon embrace friends old and new while the scenes of Mr. Big and Bitsy von Muffling’s return, as well as familiar backdrops synonymous with the hit show, are unveiled, we are reassured that fans of the original series will be rendered comforted upon its release. But, as Jessica Parker’s poignant narration on change plays out, and the flash of the show’s beloved star Willie Garson presenting itself, the deeply moving and evolved undertone of the show also presents itself, promising that we will find ourselves in fits of raucous laughter and sobbing in equal measure during the first watch.

With just under a month until the series comes crashing onto HBO Max on December 9th, it is fair to say that we are well and truly relieved that the days before the most anticipated TV drop of the year are numbered.
